112th Annual Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament

The oldest, amateur tennis tournament in the country, this annual event is designed to promote amateur tennis in California. The tournament has launched the careers of several tennis greats including Billy Jean King, Bobby Riggs, Jimmy Connors and many more. The action takes place at the historic Libbey Park and at numerous venues throughout the city. The tournament is home of the annual Pac-10’s men’s, women’s and doubles individual championship matches. Part of the annual tradition is the “Tea Tent” where formally dressed women serve tea and cookies to spectators! Matches start at 8:00 am each day.
13th Annual Ojai Storytelling Festival

Emerging and established playwrights from across the country gather to participate in the development of new plays for the American theater. The public is able to get a first-hand look at these up-and-coming plays that have been known to go onto national stages, with many becoming award-winning productions. Los Olivos, Santa Barbara County, California—St. Mark’s-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church invites the public to attend the third annual Cellar Classic: An Auction of Rare & Fine Wines on Saturday, July 28, 2012, from 4:00-7:00pm in the Church’s garden courtyard at 2901 Nojoqui Avenue in downtown Los Olivos. The Cellar Classic is coordinated by a committee of dedicated volunteers led by Steve Pepe (owner of Clos Pepe Vineyards) and Brooks Firestone (owner of Curtis Winery).
The Cellar Classic features both a live auction of rare, collectable wines such as Chateau Lafite Rothschild; Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, and California cult wines; conducted by professional auctioneer John Glines; as well as a silent auction of other fine wines, wine-related gifts and lifestyle packages. Bountiful gourmet hors d’oeuvres will be served along with local wines accompanied by live entertainment. All proceeds benefit St. Mark’s and its extensive community programs and services in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Cellar Classic tickets are $100 per person including wine, hors d'oeuvres and entertainment—available only in advance with payment by check, credit card or PayPal. The Cellar Classic is coordinated by a committee of dedicated volunteers led by Steve Pepe (owner of Clos Pepe Vineyards) and Brooks Firestone (owner of Curtis Winery).
The Cellar Classic features both a live auction of rare, collectable wines such as Chateau Lafite Rothschild; Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, and California cult wines; conducted by professional auctioneer John Glines; as well as a silent auction of other fine wines, wine-related gifts and lifestyle packages. Bountiful gourmet hors d’oeuvres will be served along with local wines accompanied by live entertainment. All proceeds benefit St. Mark’s and its extensive community programs and services in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Cellar Classic tickets are $100 per person including wine, hors d'oeuvres and entertainment—available only in advance with payment by check, credit card or PayPal.
